Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 June 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Bikram Yoga Darlinghurst website and your purchase of classes, passes and memberships from Bikram Yoga Darlinghurst, located at Level 1/2, 185 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010 ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a class, buying a pass or membership, or attending the studio, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Bookings & classes

  • Classes can be booked online through this website or the WellnessLiving system, via our mobile app, or at reception.
  • Class times, instructors and the timetable may change. We will try to give notice of changes but are not obliged to.
  • Spaces are limited. A booking reserves your place; please arrive on time (see Section 6).
  • You must provide accurate personal information when booking. You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date.

3. Pricing & payment

  • Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
  • The Newcomer Intro Offer is $99 for 21 days of unlimited classes and is available to new clients (and lapsed returning clients) only. One intro pass per person.
  • Payments made on this website are processed securely through our payment gateway (Paychoice / Nuvei). We do not store your full card number or security code.
  • By submitting payment you authorise us (and our gateway) to charge the amount shown for the pass you are purchasing.
  • A passholder's pass starts from the date of the first booked class unless stated otherwise, and runs for the stated duration.

4. Cancellations, refunds & suspensions

Class cancellations. If you cannot attend a booked class, please cancel through the WellnessLiving app or by contacting the studio as early as possible so the place can be released to someone else.

Change of mind. Passes and memberships (including the $99 newcomer intro pass) are generally non-refundable and cannot be suspended or transferred for change of mind. Intro passes are non-renewable.

Your Australian Consumer Law rights. Despite the above, you are entitled to a refund, credit or other remedy where required by the Australian Consumer Law — for example if a service is not provided, is not provided with due care and skill, or is not fit for a stated purpose. Our change-of-mind policy does not limit those rights.

Medical & exceptional circumstances. If you cannot use a pass due to illness, injury or other exceptional circumstances, contact us at support@bikramyoga.net.au — we consider suspensions and credits on a case-by-case basis (a medical certificate may be required).

5. Memberships & autopay

  • Recurring (autopay) memberships continue until cancelled in accordance with the membership terms agreed at sign-up.
  • To change or cancel an autopay membership, contact the studio with the required notice. Payments already processed are not automatically refunded except as required by law.
  • We may update membership pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Studio rules & late arrivals

  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes before class. For safety, latecomers may not be admitted once a class has started.
  • Follow your instructor's directions at all times and respect other students and studio property.
  • We may refuse entry or ask a person to leave for unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.
  • Bring a water bottle and a towel; mat and towel hire are available at reception.

7. Health, safety & assumption of risk

Our classes are practised in a room heated to approximately 40°C. Hot yoga is physically demanding and carries risks including heat stress and dehydration. You should be in good general health to participate.

If you are pregnant, or have a heart condition, low or high blood pressure, are recovering from illness or injury, or have any other medical condition, you must consult your GP before attending and inform your instructor. Always work at your own pace, hydrate well, and rest whenever you need to.

By attending, you confirm you are participating voluntarily and you accept the liability waiver presented at booking. To the extent permitted by law (and subject to the Australian Consumer Law and our duty of care), you participate at your own risk.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any class, pass or membership is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always available on this page. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
